Our teams are dedicated to maximizing the car service experience for our customers globally. We work in close collaboration with our markets and retailers who share the same view, as well as our colleagues in Engineering who develop the car.
What you'll do
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for leading the work to develop and implement the systems and standards to verify the quality of products, solutions, or materials. This to ensure that there are no defects, and that quality aligns with company, national, and international standards.
This role involves investigating and setting standards for quality, health, and safety, and analyzing the quality management systems and processes. Your contributions will be essential in influencing our Quality Agenda from a short- and long-term perspective throughout our business.
Your responsibilities include:
* Participate in Quality-networks and educate/support the CSB community in quality processes, dashboards, methods, and tools.
* Govern and support internal and external Quality Audits and Audit execution of FMEA.
* Supervise and lead Quality Assurance activities including task forces and Operational Development Projects.
* Govern the VIRA process, develop and maintain the VIRA (Volvo Car Internal System) and Quality Dashboard.
* Ensure and manage relevant Quality documents in the Business Management System (BMS), (Volvo Cars Internal System).
Your role also includes extracting, collecting, preprocessing, and cleansing relevant data to perform analytics by applying statistical science to realize initial findings.
What you'll bring
* Technical university degree or equivalent, and minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quality Management and improvement within the automotive industry.
* Experience from practical problem solving, such as 6 Sigma Black Belt/FMEA.
* Quality management standards; ISO 9001 and ISO 14002.
* You possess analytical skills and a high level of knowledge in analytics tools such as Power BI and Excel.
* Project Management leadership experience.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
* Service Business and Product Creation area within Automotive Industry.
You demonstrate everyday build-in quality behavior and are a team player who can build trust, motivate, teach, and encourage people.
You are proactive, structured, and able to see both the broader context and critical details without losing track. You are persistent and have good communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
